Edge Lit Signages

Edge lit signages are the minimalist statement pieces of modern brand interiors. A slim clear acrylic panel is lit from its edge by hidden LED strips, and the light travels through the panel by total internal reflection, escaping only where laser engraving or printed graphics interrupt its path. Names, logos and directional symbols appear to glow from within crystal, floating on the wall with no visible light source. Reception desks, luxury washrooms, executive cabins and premium retail interiors across Delhi NCR use edge lit signs where elegance matters more than shout.

The engineering is deceptively simple but unforgiving of shortcuts. The acrylic must be optically clear cast material, polished on all edges, or the light scatters unevenly. LED strips must be colour matched and driven at the exact current that balances brightness against panel life. Our CNC and laser workshops engrave artwork to a depth of a fraction of a millimetre so the graphics catch light uniformly across the whole panel. Aluminium or brass edge frames clamp the LEDs to the polished edge and double as a sleek mounting bezel.

Because the panel is typically just 8 to 10 millimetres thick, edge lit signs sit almost flush with the wall and need no bulky cabinets. Power draw is minimal, usually under 15 watts for a reception nameplate, and the cool running LEDs can stay on round the clock. Optional RGB edge frames let hotels and lounges shift the glow colour to match events or seasons.

Each edge lit sign is made to order from your vector logo. Production takes five to ten working days, including a full illumination test, and comes with a three year warranty covering the LEDs, engraving and frame.
